Keen to add a personal touch to their butler’s outfit, many women like to suggest alternative attire. These suggestions range from the sublime to the well, plain ridiculous. Of course, our butlers are always happy to oblige. Here’s some of the more interesting requests that they’ve heard.
Lifeguard shorts
And not just any lifeguard shorts. Oh no, we’re talking 1990s hit TV series, Baywatch shorts. With the sound of the theme tune playing in their ears, women can’t get enough of the sight of a man in skimpy red shorts. Of course, our butlers are happy to ditch their apron and make sure no-one drowns in a sea of champagne.
Scottish tam-o-shanter
What better way to surprise the bride-to-be than with a butler wearing a tartan hat complete with ginger wig? Particularly popular when the groom-to-be is a redhead or has Scottish ancestry. A kilt and pert buttocks completes the look.
Elvis outfit
Elvis set the world alight with those hips, those lips and that sultry look. His figure-hugging jumpsuits were as much a thing of beauty as the man himself (pre-bloating, that is). So, take one jewel-studded jumpsuit, add one buff butler and you have a thing of splendour. It’s enough to get anyone all shook up.
Hats
Forget a man in uniform; many women are happy with just the hat – sailor hats, cowboy hats, pirate hats and more. Our butlers are often asked to pop on the hat and get into character.
