Baby Shower Games: Fishing for Nipples
Fasten a peel-off magnet to the tips of a number of bottle teats. Create fishing rods with diaper pins or metal paper clips on the end on the line. Fill a large tub with water and drop in the baby bottle nipples carefully so that the tips don't get too wet! Each guest can have a turn at fishing out the nipples. For extra competition stuff gift certificates (in plastic!) inside each nipple. Also can be done with rubber ducks of all kinds for extra cute factor.
Oh you know we mean Baby! This great icebreaker starts the moment your guests walk through the door. As you greet each guest, give each a diaper pin to wear on their sleeve or collar. Whisper that they can't say 'baby' for the duration of the shower (or until it's time to open presents). If anyone hears someone else saying the forbidden word, he or she can steal the culprit's pin. At the end of the game, the person with the most pins wins a prize.
Place a good number of useful baby items inside a good quality diaper bag; bibs, teething ring, rattles, bottles and wipes are fairly inexpensive. Each guest receives a pen and paper before passing the diaper bag around. Without looking, guests should stick a hand inside the bag and identify as many items as possible. Give each guest one minute to feel around and make their guesses before moving the bag to the next person. Once everyone has had a turn, find out who had the most correct answers. The winner gets a prize and the mom-to-be gets the diaper bag filled with baby essentials!
Get creative at your baby shower with this fabulous craft idea. Buy enough plain white onesies in sizes from newborn to age 2 and give one to each guest. Stretch each across a piece of cardboard and lay out on a large table with fabric paints, brushes and sponges. Invite everyone to tap into their creative sides by painting a onesie that is completely original.
This guessing game is the perfect ice breaker as guests start the party off with cute pictures of each other as babies to guess from! Some prior planning is needed as you will need to request guests bring the photos when the invitations go out. Have a basket ready on arrival to collect pictures and assign a number to each that corresponds with the game sheet. After everyone is finished with their best guesses- give a prize to the person with the most successful matches!
1) Keep your games simple-traditional games always have a cheeky twist when a Butler in the Buff is on hand to help out!
2) Have guests contribute to the activities and ideas. There is a wealth of inspiration on social media. Invite your friends and collect ideas on a shared message board for a fun way to plan and get everyone involved before the party.
3)Relax and enjoy the fun without having to lift a finger! Have your Butler in the Buff announce the games, read off instructions and hand out materials. He’ll serve up the brunch or afternoon tea too-and even do the dishes.
4) Use your Butler for icebreaker activities at the beginning like post it note games that find commonalities among the guests or have him be the subject for the sillier games like design-a-diaper!
