Be A Stress Free Bride on Your Wedding Day!

Everyone knows that preparing for your big day can be a stressful time for any Bride to be. Stress can have a huge impact not only on the way that we look but also on the way that we feel. Here are some of the horrid ways stress has been proven to affect our looks

And here are some of the ways stress affects our bodies:

All of these symptoms are definitely not the way a bride wants to be feeling leading up to her big day. Also there would be nothing worse than walking down the aisle with a terrible cold, pounding headache and flaky blotchy skin.

Did you know that essential oils that will assist in alleviating stress, anxiety and fear. Aid in uplifting mood, reducing nerves, promote a radiant youthful looking skin and increase sleep. These are only among some of their benefits.

Frankincense

Here are some great ways to use Frankincense.

  •  Apply neat to your neck to help relieve tension and calm stress

  • Simply wear as a perfume to help uplift mood and create alertness

  • Combine a drop of Frankincense and wild orange into your hands rub together and inhale the amazing odours for a great pick me up and to relieve anxiety.

  • Apply Frankincense directly to the skin and dab off excess. This promote a youthful, glowing skin and targets any skin problems.

Lavender

The oil of all oils. If in doubt use Lavender.

  • Rub on the bottom of your feet for a better sleep

  • Apply Lavender to your temples and back of neck to  alleviate stress and anxiety and help promote mental clarity

  • Simply diffuse the oil to promote health, peace, love and a general sense of wellbeing.

Wild Orange

  • Apply one drop of Wild Orange under your tongue to promote a deeper more relaxing sleep.

  • Apply neat to temples or any reflex points to uplift your mood and reduce anxiety

  • Add 1 to 2 drops to your beverage if you’re starting to feel a cold or flu like symptoms coming on.

  • Diffuse the oil to create a calm environment.

All 3 of these essential oils will also blend great together when diffused.

Easy stress relieving bath recipe for the stressed bride

 

– 2 cups Dead Sea salt, regular Sea Salt or Epsom Salts, or a blend of two or three of these salts. (Epsom salts are great to relieve muscle tension, pain, headaches and soothe tired sore feet)

– 8-15 drops of essential oils (Lavender and Frankincense)

– A tub full of warm water

Directions:

Place the salt mixture into a bowl. Add 1 Tbs. carrier oil (vegetable oil is fine however coconut oil would work better) and 8-15 drops of the Lavender and Frankincense essential oil. Mix well with a fork. Add mixture to an air tight jar and let sit for a day. After you have drawn your bathwater, add about 1/4 cup (make sure you stir mixture again first to remove any lumps) of the bath salt to your bath water.

Stir well and allow salts to disperse before getting into the bath. It’s best to add the bath salts just before getting in the bath instead of while the water is running so that the essential oils don’t evaporate before you get in.
